Ok here my take.

In a reccord track . the rockets and sounds desapear. leaving just the view of the explosion..?
Is it a BuG?

OK explosions or any shots in plane or wind turbulence very close. should leave a sound trace since they produce a sound wave or impact.
The sound wave can travel pretty far and can produce vibrations.
LOW frequencies travel real far but not the high frequencies.( so no blink...click! but WOOOOOSSHHH..BRRRoooOOOOOOOmmmmMMMMMMM... yes )
So where are they?:
where is the the smooth BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMM deflagration..?

We want it real? so we have to get it.

Trust me I know about sound deplacement and we are not in jets traveling mach 2.
and i leaved it.
In war the sound deplacement is one of the most impressive. cockpit or not you get it.
