So, I have been posting a few things now and then in a greek facebook fan page (https://www.facebook.com/AssassinsCreedGreece?fref=ts) and people keep asking me and the other posters whether Ubisoft is going to include greek subtitles in the upcoming game.
I thought I should make a thread here, so that Mr Shade or Loco see it and would like to help me find out.

Mate... Firstly let me introduce myself. I am Greek. The only games that should actually have Greek language is the Assassin's Creed Revelations (not Istanbul, it's Constantinople :p) and the potential Byzantium setting Assassin's Creed of 2016 or 2017 (http://forums.ubi.com/showthread.php/1152899-Assassinís-Creed-(Byzantine-Empire)-ERE-Forums) Maybe I am too used to playing in English, but it is hard to imagine a game sett in Victorian London and having everyone speaking Greek. But actually, I would like to see it.
If you mean that post in the Assassin's Creed Greece Facebook page, I think he means subtitles for the Story Trailer of Assassin's Creed Syndicate.

Friend, subtitles mean words at the bottom of the screen, translated from the audio, not the actual audio itself.

I don't think the Greek economy is in a stable enough condition to afford subtitles

LOL. Poor Greece (in more ways than one). Anyway, from watching the credits for each game they usually (if not always) use the same ones. I would suggest watching the credits to a game and see if they already do so.

My query is about a subtitle option, not voice acting.

There have been some indications that Ubisoft might include greek subtitles in Syndicate and I wanted to either confirm or gainsay the rumors, but it seems that no mod has seen this thread yet.

I will not comment this...
