The propellor is just a big fan to keep the pilot cool.. when it stops you can see
the pilot start sweating!

A good landing is one you can walk away from...A great landing is one where they can use the plane again afterwards!!!

EB-games in Denmark says that the sceduled release on 12th march has been removed to the 19th, but they also told me that certain "special" stores (did not explain that) was going to have it by the 12th.
Seems kind of odd to me, and I have not been able to track down one of these "special" stores yet!

Seems like the majority of stores in the U.K have the release date for the 19th.
Maybe with the delay we might have some of the fixs done for us already.
Which would be nicehttp://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Dmitri, seems its the same thing in sweden. Tradition (EB games) changed from the 12th to the 19th. But on the other hand Gamesmix changed from the 19th to the 12th. Oh well, guess ill find out tomorrow then.

That is just a load of bollox http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-mad.gif I was ready to go out and buy it tomorrow but now all the sites are saying 19th March. So still no decent multi-player games to be found in Europe as everyone will have a different version.

The official game at that Wuhan tournament in China is IL2 FB + Ace Expansion Pack, considering that no Yanks are going I suppose everyone will be in the same boat, all except the Chinese I suppose, as they are world famous for not buying software (I don't mean to sound like I'm ****ging the Chinese off.)

One more week guys, besides there are a few things that need fixing not to mention the release of the dedicated server.

...but don't flame me because I agree...waiting sucks.

Just telephoned the MX2 site in the Channel Islands and they confirmed the expansion pack's been put back to the 19th.- they apparently have 35 pre-orders waiting for it. That's not many, but how many folk are even aware of the MX2 site? I've been ordering film through them for years but didn't realise they sold PC games as well. Thanks asmo16 for the hot tip.

I ordered it from them because 9.99 plus 99p postage is a great deal and I cancelled the pre-order with GAME, which was nearly twice the amount. Tight-fisted Brits, I hear our US cousins muttering . . . http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/10.gif

I got AEP!!! I phone up the shop which the link was posted to a little earlier in this post. (www.spy-systems.co.uk (http://www.spy-systems.co.uk)). They had one copy left...so don't get your hopes up! My point is that this particular shop had imported all its copies of AEP from the US....the likely hood is that there are going to be other shops around that sell imported copies of AEP. I feel abit smug...I'm one of the very few in the UK with AEP!!

Good on you lucas, as I've said before Strategic Plus are a very good shop if you're desperate for a game not released here but you will pay through the nose for it.I bought a copy of the US version of Silent Hunter II from them months before the official release here though it did cost me 40 I believe.I didn't have to pay postage as I don't live too far from the shop (it's tiny) in Hampton Hill.

Choxaway - no problems ! http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gifhttp://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif 19th March it is then http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-sad.gif At least we know now.... and Hehe yeah I guess I am a tight so and so - but I aint going to pay more than double price - 22.99 (http://www.sps-systems.co.uk/trolleyed/134/index.htm) to get what is after all ONLY an expansion, rather than a full game. Pretty skint at the moment anyways (still a student with a rather large overdraft http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/35.gif) so I couldnt really justify the extra 13 just to get it a bit earlier. 10.98.... as The Who said "Bargain!"

Lucas & B16 - good job lads, enjoy.

cheers

Andrew

Thanks M8 http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

I'll be here to help if any one has problems.

That's my excuse for paying more, over in 'Community Help' I feel behind the times without AEP.
