I got it turned on, and it helps greatly. I just don't understand the adjustments.

Would someone mind giving the skinny on this? A little insight would be well appreciated.

wich gunsight? K14 gunsight?

use your 'bombsight automation' key to turn it on / switch modes (there are three)

use your bombsight 'sideslip' keys to change target aircraft wingspan, and use 'bombsight up/down' key to change distance to target

you have to assign these keys in the 'controls' section

Ok, this leaves me with a single question...

Is the 'distance to target' setting such that I want to set it to match my convergance setting, or do I want to input actual distance to target.

With no adjustments what-so-ever (just turning it on), my gunnery went way way up.

Baldie, if one generally abides by the principle of close-range gunnery, you really don't need to fiddle around much with the distance/target size settings.

Generally, just activate the K-14 and center the sight on the maneuvering enemy, and in the distances between 0~300m, it will hit.

It's not really as much useful as it seems, at least, the extra buttons don't seem like a worthy thing to fiddle with - people accustomed to their "instincts" when it comes to gunnery, will find the K-14 even more of a nuisance.

Thats assuming that the stick handler can see his tracers, or has seen enough of them in the past to know where the bullets should be.

Not my case at all. I'm a victim of faulty hardware, and have been since day one.

I have never been good at shooting in this game because I can not see the tracers. One day, maybe I'll get a new monitor, but for the time being, the K14 is the ultimate hardware equalizer.

Anyway, my point being:

Should the thing be setup for convergance distance or what? I'm guestimating that it should, since it tries to compute-lead and all.

Near-prefect lead AT convergance is going to be a real pain for those under the pipper.
