All right, we need more bombers (though I just want the Pe-2).

Looks like a credible interior and cockpit. I'm amazed by the talent and skill these folks possess. Interesting color change in the bulletproof windshield panel in the center. If this is final, I suspect the light could cause that to go very dark at certain times of day.

Just gorgeous! A20 was widely used on all WWII fronts and it's gonna be excellent groundpounder, much more needed then SOME figters!

Is it the Boston or the Havoc?

woofiedog

Both names were used for the A-20... Early models that escaped from France in 40 were called the Havoc and later the British were calling the different models Boston.. Boston III ... Ect. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

Also saw service with the VVS on the Eastern Front. Apparently in significant numbers too!

Yes... I left out The Eastern Front by mistake... as this is one of the aircraft that was used in combat through out the War and saw action in almost all fronts.
But as most of us know ... we need MORE BOMBERS... the more the merrier!!!! http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/11.gif

I agree, we need more bombers, espesially flyable mediums, though it would sure be nice to see a Lancaster.

I never ealized the A-20 was a single seater. Now that I look at the picture closely though, it makes sense; the thing was really rather thin.
