I'd like to see that one in FB. I remeber it's the fastest biplane reaching 520km/h. It's basically a Falco with a DB-601A instead of that Fiat engine. Some 1780 were produced, so there were quite some. It attained the speed in 1941, so it's probably a 41 plane. Just looked it up because I had somethin in mind that the Falco was the fastest biplane and it isn't in FB, because of the engine.

Only one? Hmmm maybe I mixed something up then. As I understood:
One prototype only, but then 1780 serial produced 42Bs.

yes, you mixed it up with the total production amount of ALL Cr42s http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Yes, only one was ever produced, same as the Ho.229, and as opposed to the Bf.109 Z, which never even flew...

But I agree, we have enough what-if's as it is.

That (AS) we may have. If not with 100kg bombs, at least with 50 or 70 kg bombs. Not sure when tho'

Indeed, only ONE DB601 Cr.42 was made, and tbh...it is sooo ugly :-) I will certainly not model it.
