The P-47Ns long range will however be useless in PF http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_frown.gif And because of it's large tanks 25% will weight a lot! also it had "only" 6 fifties. 500 rpg on the other hand http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif And better roll-rate due to squared off wing-tips.

The P-47N is a possibility for PF. Yellonet, the P-47N had a much greater top speed 467 mph, roll-rate 105 deg/sec, range 2350 mi., and better ordinance options up to 10 HVARS with zero length rails. It was the definative mass produced P-47.

The P-47N had 8 .50s just like the Ds and Ms.

And the wings were actually lengthened over the Ds and Ms.

How is the P-47N modelling coming along? I've heard the modeller has run into some problems. I hope these can be resolved. I'd love to be able to fly it.
