As I mentioned previously in one of the threads, do not upgrade to 980 ti or the newer maxwells this year, wait for Q2 next year. The big pascal is coming out (17 billion transistors , 2x gtx titan x.. 16GB VRAM)

This is for certain, here is the most recent article

Too late... I have a skylake 6700k with a 980 ti but it'll do for a year.

GFX cards tend to leapfrog each other every year... but this is a good find and will help others decide, whether to get the new card or even.. get a bargain 980 ti when the price drops :D

Yeah I can easily see the basic non oc'd version at $599-$699 USD most can't afford that. When it launches or shortly after it does, will be when I get my 980ti. I always have to stay one card generation behind in order to afford it.

Oh oh... GTX 970 would have been good for Syndicate. Anyways hope you enjoy the game. 980 ti seems to be a great card. But guess I will move with a pascal next year :D.
