I don't think it is officially supported, BUT

I have managed to run POP:SOT on that exact configuration.

You have to do the following:

1 Start up the game
2 Change each setting in gfx options to minimal (Except for screen resolution)
3 change screen resolution to 640 by 480 last
4 then the game should run fine
5 once u've loaded the game, you can then slowly adjust all gfx detail options to max (except for shadows and special effects) and increase screen resolution

What I haven't figured out tho is how to get consistent fps

In some areas, I am able to get 30 fps but then in some other areas my fps slows down to 5!

another thing - make sure u use the 43.45 drivers and no later. Any driver version after 43.45 will not work w/ POP: SOT

Well, I used the latest 52.16's from nvidia.com on my geforce3 ti500. I can play with everything cranked ALL the way up and it runs very smooth, but I can only run at 1024x768. My desktop usually runs at 1280x1024. I wish PoP would run that high, but when I run it that high the colors are very messed up and it's just plain BAD looking.

are you saying not to use anything newer than 43.45's on ANY card, or specifically the Geforce4 440 Go?

I do have an HP laptop with a 17" widescreen with a Geforce4 440 Go installed. I haven't tried the latest drivers yet, but I installed PoP on there and it's crashing out on me. I don't know if the card is not supported (it doesn't say that on the box), but I sure do wish I could get it to run correctly at highest resolution cranked up with all the eye-candy turned on high. And if I could get it to run widescreen that would be even sweeter. I know this card can do it it's a great card. It runs UT2003 flawless and those map/textures are HUGE.

So what's up with the geforce4 440 Go folks? Not supported or what's the fix???? HELP!

Negative. Tried the 3D Analyzer and it crashes out on me even before it does if I try and run the game without it. It just says something about the game ended unexpectedly, and view the readme.txt for tech support. I'd really love it to work on this card, it's actually a very good card. Runs everything else I've thrown at it very smooth.
