Just Flight didn't charge for shipping. Probably will come standard freight...by air to the U.S., then standard post. Depending on your location, could be another week or so.

Hope I'm wrong, though. My copy is in the same shipment.

1. Yes it is indeed well worth the money.

2. I ordered mine on Saturday Feb 21 evening online from the link on Netwings (still shipping from UK) and got it on Tuesday March 2nd in my mailbox so basically, 10 days. I currently live in Vancouver, Canada.

3. No shipping charges, but Canada customs interpretated the sales amount in British Pounds, although I specified to be billed in US dollars (29.99USD). They actually charged me Candian tax duties (GST & PST) on 29.99 British pounds, which is almost 2 times the original charge in USD/Euros when converted in Canadian dollar. So, I actually have to get Rev Can to reimburse me some $$$.

For instance, they calculated the conv. of 29.99 pounds as over $ 75.00 CDN whereas $ 29.99 US is about $ 40.00 CDN.......

All in all, I am really happy with BoE as I can kick some major USAF butt in my trusty Bf 109G-6 and it is really well made. New maps, great skins and awesome mission briefings in the carreer mode. Support seems great too and Starshoy is quick to answer my questions. They will also integrate several AEP A/C into BoE shortly as a free patch.

My recommendation, buy it now!

I pre-ordered and recived it on the day of release, but, hey, I live in the UK http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

I agree with jagdmailer except I'd add two qualifiers. i) Lots of spelling/grammatical errors in the briefings. ii) Good luck trying to escort bombers from ground starts, you can never get to them in time before the LW boys hit them. I think Starshoy is going to fix this however.

I did not make briefings, but so far I fixed the whole 4 or 5 of them reported. A couple of them reported as errors were not. Anyway, if you want to contribute, just send them to me http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

There will be no B-17 escort missions with ground start after patch. Do not make much sense.

I ordered from JustFlight.com (UK)

It took 4 day's to arrive at my house on the east coast, usa.

Justflight gave me bonus points for creating a new account. The points equaled approx $7.00us, so I ended up paying $22.00 with free shipping.

deffinately worth it imo. More so when the new campaigns are released.

I recommend reading the interview at Simhq.com

A hell of a load of skins and the THING I LIKE MOST A SCRIPTED ONLINE COOP CAMPAIGN me and my friend have flown the online campaign for some days and its COOL.
i dont know how much it cost where you live.BUT its Worth it you wouldnt be dissapointed.
Just flight are also doing a patch for it so some of the new planes in AEP can be Chosen in the campaign in the future.

Good luck, Bearcat. Let us know if everything works. I'm going to hold off on any 3rd party add-on purchases or free missions and campaigns until the authors update it to be compatible with AEP, or if I read here in the forums that certain campaigns work with AEP.

There are no issues except that now I don't know which campaigns were created by BOE & which by ACE, but it doesn't really matter since they all seem to work fine so far.

http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_cool.gifNow I'm confused. I have all three (FB, BOE, and AEP). I haven't installed any of them yet because I want to finish the original missions and campaigns. Only started that about 3 weeks ago after finding it in a bargain bin. Anyway, my question is, can FB, BOE and AEP all be installed compatibly with each other. I seem to be reading that BOE and AEP are not compatible at the present time.

They work together fine. I had problems after installing BoE over AEP, but It appears that I am the only person who had these issues.

You will like BoE when you spawn in the first mission in the P51 campaign and look below you.

Well, received it. It took a week to have it in Canada. So far, i love it exept that the missions are starting in the air. I like it when the mission is starting with a cold cockpit and you have the privilege to see the smokes going out of the exhaust. Any one of you know if there's a way to change that?

Yes - just invade France, you'll get airfields to start on http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif.

It will happen after a few missions. If you can't wait, start campaign from second phase - Operation Overlord. But you will miss night paradrops and D-Day itself.
