View Full Version : ACU won't open

It's not the requirements. ACU.exe stopped working last night once, and I reported it via the window that appeared about the error, and then ACU isn't working ever since. It only shows Uplay window. When I press play on steam, it doesn't open. When I press play on Uplay, It doesn't work. Any advice? Please?

it wouldn't hurt to write your specs and it may help.

Have you played Unity before on that pc or was this the first time loading ?
If you have played before on that pc have you changed anything ? added new components or software ?
Have you verified the game files in steam ? you may have some corrupt files stopping the game from loading.

I had this issue once, restarting the PC fixed it.;)

I've got the same issue, launch ACU through steam and Uplay opens up and then uplay says "synchronizing achievements" and then nothing happens. I was getting the message from windows saying ACU.exe had stopped working but now i'm not even getting that. The game was working fine but I haven't played it since 2 weeks after patch 5 was released. Figured I'd try and finish the game before Syndicate was released, I guess I was wrong, lol...

I have windows 10 64bit and I bought ACU yesterday for PC and download it on Uplay. I can't launch the game, and I don't have any error message

Posting your specs might help....

Laptops are not officially supported.( In case you have one)

Verifying your game may help.. this is done in uplay.

and there's a thread somewhere with possible solutions I'll see if I can find it

I have a laptop, and I don't meet the minimum requirements. However, the game has been working all year. (I've only played 90 hours, though) It was a stable 30- 40 FPS. If I'm in small areas, I get 50. But that's not the point. The point is, one moment it was working, and then the next moment it wasn't. The only solution (only to get it to launch, not play) is to disable your graphics card, and reenable it right when you see the Assassin's Creed Unity logo. However, this is not a solution at all, because... You're playing with your integrated graphics and you'll proabably get 10 FPS.

Olá. eu estou com o mesmo problema descrito no inicio. porém começou a acorrer logo que atualizei o Uplay ver. 18/09/2015 o jogo ACU e AC Rogue não inicia. O ACL-HD, AC4BF, AC1, AC China estão funcionando corretamente.

I think there could be a problem because it's windows 10 try contacting technical team of ubisoft and ask them question
