Having finally managed, after about 6 hours,to come to grips with the fmb!!
Just a couple of questions though, sorry.

Can the missions you build become available for online coop missions? If so how?
Whats the upper limit on aircraft numbers for this?My pc handled over 100 comfortably the other night,is this possible online?
Can you fly AI from the start of a coop mission?

thanks

There are only two differnces between single player and coop missions:
1. The folder you save them in; &
2. In coop you don't designate a player aircraft.

Upper limit for aircraft is the host server connection speed. Number of ground objects on the map is also a factor.

You can't fly AI in coops at all (though you can have AI in the mission). AI can only be flown by humans in Dogfight mode.

Thanks for the info, most helpful.Another question though if thats ok? When you have finished creating your mission how do you get to play it online as a coop? ie, where and what do you do with it?
Just curious about the limitations for aircraft numbers as ive tried to recreate the raid on schweinfurtt and regunsburg, with about 90 aircraft.Would this be possible? Its a good mission to fly as its quite a sight flying head on into 50+ b17s!

From Full Mission Builder, when you save a file select on of the sub-folders in the:

...Net\coop\

folder tree. Using Windows explorer you can create new subfolders, it will work just as well.

As for numbers in a mission, 50 bombers will overload most connections, especially once a few of them get shot down and parachutes start raining from the sky. Parachutes seem to be one of the most CPU intensive effects in the game and really have a major impact, as do massed bomb drops, convoys and heavy use of multi-gunned AAA units.

To co-op host on 'ubi gs'

Go to 'coop' lobby and create a room wait for others to join then hit the start tab once you have loaded you will see your mission files scroll down to the mission you want to play wait for the others to join [ you will see them connecting to your room in the top left cornner of your screen ] once all have connected - if they are able to connect that is, hit 'load' the mission will load once you have loaded you will see your mission build' highlight the aircraft # you want to fly - you can only do this if you haven't already selected "player aircraft" in the 'fmb'go to aircraft armory,fuel/loadout once you have loaded go back to your mission build you will see the other players making selections once thier in place hit 'fly' you will be taken to the 'ready and wait' lobby once everyone's ready a 'fly' button will appear hit that you will appear in your cockpit you will see a count down appear in the centre of your screen wait till '0' and that's it your away.

Good luck have fun like i do .

Bart .
