UCLANUPE...The more hosting sites we have, the better/easier for everyone to see/download these movies...Good to see you expanding your hosting efforts.

The VWC Website (as Opposed to the VWC Forums) will also be having a multi-Gb movie-hosting capability in the very near future.

COPPERHEAD...that is also a generous offer...

As has been mentioned on this UBI forum in several threads, Viper has established a Movie-makers forum/site in an attempt to Centralize discussion of Movie-making matters...He has formed a team of 4-5 moderaytors and administrators. We are TRYing, without a response thus far, to get UBI to post a Link to the Site. It would be helpful if all of us vould focus our efforts in one or two main directions/locations, if at all possible...in that regard, I would ask, on Viper's behalf, for support of the VWC Site/forums; and, that we encourage UBI to post a Highly visible link to the VWC Forums.

Here is the link to the "Virtual War Cinema" Site/Forums:

Got it. We want to keep file sizes under control 20-50 megs but 75-80 megs for an exceedingly excellent movie would be the heaviest file we would choose to host.

Free apps:
Try using FRAPS 1.9 to capture, Virtual dub for touch up effects, Windows Movie Maker 2 to compile the film, Special and touch up effects(Camera shake etc..) can also be done via Animation Shop 3 by JASC(Trial version 30 days operation).

In the beginning this was just a hobby for most, now some are using professional software apps that cost hundreds and even thousands of dollars. That should NOT discourage ANYONE from making a movie of YOUR vision. We in the movie making community WELCOME ALL that take the time to make movies. S!

I will also take the time to thank our resident veteran. Wiley for his continued unwavering community support. S!NTESLA, as I stated before it is a honor to support you as you have support us from the start. S!

I would also like to thank other members like Davinci, Benjamin Pond, Mysticpuma, Scragbag, Pawnee and Butchy(Silver Triggers), Pdog1, JR Jacobs, 777Falcon and any others that have made movies. You guys are what this is all about. S! /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

Thank you UCLANUPE. I will look into those programs to start making my movie. Sorry about the way I started here, I had no idea of the scope and talent. You have been VERY fair with me and thank you for not writing me off after that PM about my crtique of the Chinese movies. ~S~

Black- I see have been a bit active in the CFS threads. /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

No problem, you were getting roasted a bit, but you seemed sincere, so I gave you the benefit of a doubt. /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

BTW, try getting the latest Divx 5.05 codecs and use the fast motion compression. This will give you a great compression rate without lossy problems that some others have. S!
