I´m sorry to post this, because I don´t like whinning at all, but with 1.1b the FB online behaviour was excellent, even with high pings.

But with 1.11, warp is again very noticeable in AI planes, even with low pings (100). Chasing an AI plane is actually a hard work, trying to follow all his strange movements.

Dont just go by your own pings as all you need is one or two players with a high ping to drag the whole server down.Also skin downloads can kill even the best servers.

I was online last nite with mates all with good to average pings and found no problems so far.But time will tell.

I am not talking about typical lag due to bad connections, I am talking about the strange movements of AI planes (heavy bombers, Bf-110 & Fw-190 are the most affected in german side) with pings below 100 that we all suffered in v1.0.

I've hosted more than a dozen online missions under 1.11 w/ 4-8 players. For the most part, nobody has reported warping of either human or AI controlled planes. The one thing I've noticed using the DCG is that when warp does occur, it's usually because there's to many ground units battling it out. Warp is typically eliminated when I tone down ground force density. For some reason, air unit density doesn't have as much impact on warping or performance as does the ground wars.

So, I'm pretty convinced that 1.11 is performing quite well in this regard - at least as good as it was under 1.1b. stubby
