I suggest you take off CB radio and add Ventrillo to your list. Just a thought.

CB Radio?

<pre class="ip-ubbcode-code-pre">
Specs:
More expensive than the dining set.
Less expensive than the couch.
Smaller than the dishwasher.
Just as noisy as the refridgerator.
Faster than the cars' computer.
Less practical than the car.
Face it, people who put thier computer specs in thier signature are pretty ****ing wierd.

PBNA use teamspeak, but when I'm on with the IL2 air racing guys, they use RW.

I'm considering getting Ventrilo as well though.

Ventrilo all the way. Better quality than any other program and quite easy to set up and start a server. And it doesn't suffer from the SB-"AllYouCanHear"-bug. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-tongue.gif

No Ventrillo!!?? and WTH is CB radio??!! Is that a comm program or a corny joke... If you are going to do a poll at least have the major possibilities in it for people to respond accurately. Oh no...... another poll. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-tongue.gif

Our squad is still using RW....it does the job for us. Ventrillo does have a good write up, except as far as dial-up is concerned. When we don't have any more dial-up members we may change

There was a falcon squad that had regular lan parties and used two-way radios for comms. They used a scanner to recieve the comm net and streamed it over the web. It was really cool to listen to!

If your squadron mates live within 20 miles of one another, CB radio would be an excellent "secure link". The locals might think you're nuts though and call the CIA.
