I've just started a Russian fighter campaign, out of th box and thought the aircraft was an IL-6 but I can't find it listed on the homepage. It is a short stubby thing with an open cockpit and has manual landing gear?

After about 5 minutes into the mission the engine begins to lose power until I gracelly glide back to earth. At this time I have most of the realism settings turned off (wuss) so I don't think my engine is overheating but I am on limited fuel but I would have thought there would be enough there for more than 5 minutes flying time.

Am I missing something? Sorry to be vague about the aircraft model but it has thrown me not seeing it on the home page.

Thanks, Lee.

it's an I-16. the I-16 cant handle negative g's so dont push the stick hard forward. . the fuel in this plane is gravity fed.
welcome to the community dude

This happens when pulling negative Gs and this avoids fuel entering the carburetor...It just means that your engine is not fed when pulling Neg Gs.
