Hi again long time no seeing.
Ive read that the next patch is the last of AEP. How sad. I had great hope in this combat flight simulator and AEP dont make me hungry to buy BoB or any other. But never say never. I still come by and read this forum.

I as mentioned earlier dont fly this game so often anymore. I have installed the latest patch to see if there where any improvement that fulfilled any of my wishes about the perfect CFS.

I have loved the graphics, the correctnes of navigation, the nice cockpit panels etc etc.

There where lots of possibilties in this game. Lets hope that UBI sells the concept to another game manufactor.

I would, as another composer wrote "personally would pay $200 to $500 or more plus a monthly fee for an accurate CFS", not pay that much but I wish as well for an accurate CFS.

C U all in Flight Simulator 2004.

There was, I believe, no information as to when and if there's going to be a "last patch". Since the game is going to be integrated with PF once it's out, I'd expect that the "last patch" won't come until, say, late 2005.

This patch (2.04) was the last for FB+AEP. The next thing will be PF, which is a stand alone game and at the same time it works as an addon that you can install on FB+AEP. This combination will be supported with patches and addons (Italians, Ju-88, Pe-2 '359 and others). It's not written in stone how many patches we'll get or how long it will be supported.

Offering the bomber/italian aircraft patch only for people that have FB/AEP/PF install would be a good way for UBI/Maddox to force people to fork out the $ 50 bucks to buy PF........

Personaly, in the end, I do not really care. As long we get the Ju 88s and I can shoot down B-26, Beaufighters, A-20....over Normandy or Berlin map with my 109 & get more aircrafts/loadouts/maps in subsequent patches until we get BoB, I am OK.

2.04 i believe is the last patch for AEP... As far as i understood all future patches will adress AEP+PF combo.

Kozhedub: In combat potential, the Yak-3, La-7 and La-9 fighters were indisputably superior to the Bf-109s and Fw-190s. But, as they say, no matter how good the violin may be, much depends on the violinist. I always felt respect for an enemy pilot whose plane I failed to down.

let's not forget, with the ability now to install PF with AEP, vs total standalone - it really expands the game!

You like the possibility of doing barrel roll in Boeing747, dont you?

IMHO FS2004 is not the perfect simulator either, strange FM's are present there.

So if you want to fly the long promised Ju 88, you have to buy PF. Nice trick http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/784.gif

Hmmm buying Pacific Fighters to get the Murmansk map, for example, would be weird. I was hoping there would be at least one patch before PF release. From whome did you hear?

From himself we did hear Superbus .)

High Ground is not only more agreeable and salubrious, but more convenient from a military point of view; low ground is not only damp and unhealthy, but also disadvantageous for fighting.

That is strange. I thought the P-36/Hawk was supposed to be flyable with AEP. I was hoping for a patch for that. Maybe I misread the wrong forum.
That was one of the reasons why I bought AEP in the first place.

Hmmm. Does that mean that the people who bought Il2FB+Aces+PF get to fight in planes that the stand alone PF doesn't have?

Interesting.

It maybe that once they get bounced by a BF-109x they may want to go out and pick up IL2FB Gold.

From the man himself: "2. add-ons, if there will be such. But i would tell there are waiting a lot of third party aircraft currently - Italian, US, Russian and German - from these third party developers who is experinced already in modeling for FB/AEP (or better to say from these who don't speak too much on forums, but really make it good!). Notice: I think add-ons with the planes we can submit only for united version (option PF inot FB/AEP install). We will see after the release. " ------ From first sticky thread.
Note that there is still possibility to patch AEP stand-alone.

To Scen: Those who owns pure Pacific will not be able to join games that hosted by AEP+PF users, They can only join games hosted by pure Pacific, therefore they wont get bounced by 109s http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif - if that was your question.

Man.. I have never seen such a bunch.. These guys are the poster child for

"you can please some of the people some of the time, but you cannt please all of the people all of the time"

I love the ones that yatch about having to buy PF to get new stuff for FB.. As if they were not going to buy PF! LOL! No wonder Oleg does not spend much time here anymore..

Name one other flight sim that the developer went out of the way to include in a new product so you could makes use of the old sim and the new sim at the same time.. Do you guys ever step back and realise just how much free stuff you have recived and the support along with it? Jezzz! Talk about whinners

Sorry to hear that the 2.04 patch is the last for FB/AEP. Now I dont have to hope for the improvements on my wishlist.

Ill save my money until as many threads on this forum writes about Uber axisplanes as Uber Allied-planes, as an indication.

Ill will do as my squadmates, pay for AcesHigh instead, to fulfill my addiction to CFS.

As we say we who lives in a market- or capitalismus economy, "A customer is hard to get and easy to loose".

Bye bye and good luck.

BTW I dont fly Flight Simulator to make barell rolls.
