There's a growing resource available for new sim pilots who want to accelerate their learning curve. Learn the finer points of energy fighting and BnZ tactics and more. The more this page grows, the more lame my first submissions appear by comparison. But that's ok, because I'm going to keep downloading the new tracks and someday ... someday ... sniff ... I'll actually survive an online fight and land at home base. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/mockface.gif

To all you talented sim pilots out there ... come on and give michapma a hand. Send him some more training tracks.

Very Nice! I dl'd the PDF IL2 guide as well, and see that a LOT of work has gone into this.

Thanks http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Salute tsisqua. Looked up the Ned Christie story a few months ago .. very tragic end. It's ironic how the witness to the murder came forward when it was too late to save Ned. It's double tragic how few contemporary historians are admitting to the mistake of those early "lawmakers."

Canuck, your track isn't exactly lame. Keep in mind that Josf is a dedicated tactician, one who's studied Shaw's book. I'm very happy that he and the JG14 are getting into making tracks. Also helps me learn what not to bite on.

There's a lot of variety yet to come, but it seems to be taking a good start.

Thanks for the compliments to the site everyone, it is already in the original post in the Essentials sticky, thanks to Bearcat's unfailing attention. I noticed my hits counter at least doubled for a couple of days afterward, and has been consistently higher since. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

I really enjoy the tracks here also. Any plans on some missions for training? Perhaps Bombing tracks too!

Oh sweet... I hadn't thought of a bombing track.

Coastie, several of the tracks are already training tracks. I'm planning on writing up messages for a second and perhaps third part on formation flying. I also want to plan a training track for engine management, since I am at long last releasing my CEM guide today.

Cheers,
Mike
