So yeah. I've been attempting the same bloody naval mission for 2 days (The Giant and The Storm 100% Synch). Spent 5 hours or so on it already.
I didn't think I could be this mad for this long. The rage is actually causing physical damage due to excessive grunting and ramming my table. And I'm pretty much snapping at everyone. I just want this ****e plat already.

I guess it's true. It's always the quiet ones that flip out the most.

So yeah. Could a dev please log on my PS3 and finish the bloody mission. Feel free to do the DLC wave 25 trophy while you're at it.

I love Asassin's Creed. Spent about 1k euro's on it already. Even thinking about a wee creed tattoo. But Assassin's Creed 3.. Nope.jpeg

Whoever chose the 100% sync things for AC3 was definitely high. The WORST 100% objectives in any AC game.

Yea that one is one of the most hardest ones out there. I have tried everything but nothing until I did a two step process. First step is to use the chain shot on all the ships to stop them. Don't use any thing else to damage them. Second step is when you stopped them switch to your fire shots. You move your ship right in the front of the ship not on the side. You fire one fire shot and if you done it right is should blow the front of the ship. That worked for me so try it

Ramming ships head to head is usually enough. Just be carefull with frigates, they are too fragile and can sink after a single hit at full speed.
A safer and slower way is to disable frigates and do what Link said.
I never had any serious problems with this mission, perhaps because I always ram enemy ships when I engage them. The hardest naval mission was where you have to escort 8 or so boats. Apparently those boats have battle AI, they circle around enemy ships but they dont have any weapons. This makes them easy targets, for you as well.
