Are someone interested in making a sort of "Engine/prop management handbook"? A few pages with graphs and tables on how to manage the different variables concerning engine management. Each plane type should have a set of tables containing suggestions for prop-pitch/radiator/mixture/supercharger settings depending on altitude and the situation you are in (fuel-conserving, maximum climb, best turning performance, highest speed etc.)
Does this sound like an idea? Or has it already been done? If someone is interested I would like to help with what little knowledge I have.
I believe this will make it possible for a lot more people to fly with complex engine management, without getting shot out of the sky because they can't get their planes to perform the best.

Dmitri, read through the various sites listed in the "Sturmovik Essentials" thread near the top of the forum, several of those sites have references and guides of that sort.

There's also some information in the readme's and manual that comes with the game & patches, though some of it hasn't been updated with patch changes.
