Axis Chat Pack Mod for FB ready for Down Load. Get it here.

http://people.ee.ethz.ch/~chapman/flightsims/oberstguncam/SoundFiles/Germanchatter.zip

Japanese version should be ready to down load before the week is out and Russian Chat pack Mod is nearly done.

Many thanks to runner, aka Wiley for hosting the files. S!

Special note: Once you put these into your "Inflight" music folder, you'll hear the Axis/ German RT no matter what you fly.

If you decide to fly Russian or one of the other Allies, simply turn the Inflight music off.

Hopefully, some one with the know how will make a program that will "apply" the correct "Chat pack", be it Axis, Russian or Japanese to the Inflight folder based on what the user plans to fly. (The ability to default the folder would be nice to)

Also, these Chat packs are voiced in their native tonge's. Some day, if there is enough demand, and if I can get permission from BBQ, I'll make the english language "accented" chat packs for VVS and German.

Additional note:

NOTE: While the Inflight music switch is on, these files will play in the back ground regardless of which side your flying for. If you decide to fly Allied, simply turn the Inflight music off so you don't hear German RT in the background.

As more of these Chat packs become available, (Japanese, Russian, allied) You will ahve to make separate folders in another location to store them. The folders can be named "AXIS", "JAPAN", RUSSIAN and so fourth.

I would also recommend renaming the files them selves, to avoid mixing them up with other chat files. Example: "g0.wav" the "g" for german. "j0.wav" for Japan, and r0.wav for Russian.

As already mentioned... hopefully, some one, some day will come up with a little program that will load and change the Chat files to suit your needs. Until then, it will have to be done manually.

The inflight and takeoff audio plays in 'alphabetical' order or to be precise ASCII character order.
That is why the files I included were named "o.wav" "1.wav" etc... That way I could (almost) guarantee that the files would play no matter what other muisc was in the relevant folders.

What we need is for the inflight and takeoff tracks to play as the menu music does according to the nationality you're flying.

Shall we bombard Oleg to ask for 1C to 'fix' this?

***Thanks..that clears it up...i couldn't figure out the order, which Sometimes seemed random, sometimes not...***

I agree that Oleg could probably easily change the InFlight system to be just like the menu system, with folders for each country.
