Dear Oleg,

Some of these online maps require a lot of PC power to run them and still have a pretty picture. Some of the island maps are definate resource hogs. Also, the larger maps, that are not really suitable for online, are resource hogs as well. Actually, the only two maps I care to use for online mission building are online maps 1 and 2. Online map 3 works well most of the time but can slow down if there are a lot of players.

Is it possible to have some maps with just some smooth rolling hills, ground textures, sparse trees, very few buildings if any and a few airfields? In other words very simple, small area maps with minimal impact on hardware.

Also, would it be possible to have a north africa map by simply retexturing one of the existing maps like online maps 1 and 2 ie desert textures instead of grassy textures? or possibly create a very simple flat map with desert land textures and a few airfields.

Regards,
SodBuster43
