In the wake of this storm I wish the carribian members of our community and the members in Fla. and the Gulf who are in the path of this storm safety and comfort.

Yes, it has been very rough for all of those in that region...what weather they've had.

Yes, I was thinking how small countries like Jamaica tend to get overlooked. I have heard many stories of the power of those winds when blowing over that Island. And that`s just the little storms. Best wishes for them.

All the way up here in Ohio, we recieved the remnants of Francis, and had about 4 inches of rain. Flash floods, and now back water from the mighty Ohio River. Best wishes and prayers for those that are getting the full effect of these powerful storms.

there hasnt been a cat 5 headin to the states since camille in '69. those in its path or even in the projected path should make tracks now and not later; 160mph winds is nothin to play around with

They had a near miss that is for sure. It could have been worse.

Look out those in Cuba and along the pan handle. Fingers crossed for you.

Good luck to all places that are going to get hammered by the storm.

Dont know about anyone else but if i lived in a region that took lots of hits like those places id consider getting some land away from oceans.
