How about this? Flying offline with externals off, I started track recording once I was airborne. Nothing untoward as far as I knew, but looking at the .ntrk later, one wheel down. There was no indication in the cockpit and it didn't seem to be flying oddly, in fact it was handling better, not rolling to the left all the time.
Do you think I really did spend the mission with one u/c leg down, or is the .ntrk lying?
Cheers!

Ladies & gentlemen, this is the captain speaking. Thankyou for choosing to fly Mandarin Airlines. Those passengers sitting on the left-hand side of the aeroplane please make yourselves comfortable. Those sitting on the right... please look to your left!

Looks like you need to go back to flight school. Who forgets to raise their gear??

The u/c WAS raised, and the lights showed it as up, no problems. It was a normal takeoff and I hadn't taken any hits, in fact hadn't seen an enemy a/c at this point.

It's all a bit of a mystery.
Cheers!

It may be a trak thing. The other day I was flying training with my XO I was host I landed and took off and the entire time I was on the ground my brakes stayed on and my gear stayed down after take off. On my copy of the track. My XO's trak showed my aircraft operating properely. I still have traks if you would want to see the phenomena.

I've never seen that only one wheel came down without battledamage but on occasion in my tracs i can see that on landing my wheels arnt visible although the ac is standing on ground.

The error is probably caused by bugs and incompabilities within the multiple software and hardwarecomponents used in pc computers and one comp is slightly different from another.( what I've heard from computer builders )

I think the track is lying (see below) ...

------------------

Videos after 1.11 still wrong:

In IL-2 FB v.1.11 the *.ntrk videos are still not showing what they should!!!

Example:

If I attack a FLAK-vehicle in a convoy and kill it, in the Video you can't see the kill. In the video the FLAK-vehicle drives not at the same place in the convoy as during the original flight!

That's why my plane (in the video) shoots in the empty space between the other convoy-vehicles, where the FLAK should be (and where it was in the original Mission!).

This means, that the FLAK is still shooting at me, even if it should already be dead!!!!!

No. I tried my test-mission (just my plane, and a few vehicels on a road near the Airfield) in 100 different ways. I tried with different graphics-settings, different planes, different vehicles, with time compression, without time compression, *.trk, *.ntrk, etc. I even tried to give the vehicels a short stop at the first waypoint (I hoped they would line up correctly there in the video) - NO CHANCE!

The FLAK-vehicels DON'T KEEP the same position in the convoy (in the track) as they did in the original flight.

For me, this is the most disturbing bug in the game at the moment. Because as a mudmover you have NO CHANCE to review your victories in a track.

I think it's a shame, that this bug still exists, because recording your flight is one of the basic elements of the game - and it doesen't work properly.

Yep, I think I have to agree with you. Just reviewed one of my other tracks made in the same session and my squadron take out a lot of non-existent tanks, which were definitely there in the original. I thought the patch(es) claimed to have fixed the track bugs. Obviously not.
Cheers!
