I urge all you forum members to go and read in this order

War Story
Hornets Sting
Goshawk Squadron
By Derek Robinson

WW1 RFC fiction but absolutely superb great fight scenes and dark humour.

Piece of Cake
Good Clean Fight
By Derek Robinsom

WW2 this time and agian up there with the best books Ive ever read. Follows Hornet Fighter Squadron.

A Damn good Show

Again by Derek Robinson. WW2 this time a Bomber squadron.

All these books are superb and Im sure if anyone else hads read them they can back me up.

They can be bought at Amazon .co.uk or order then from a local bookshop.

Enjoy

Ahh top banana, you have good taste my man!!! I've got all of Derek Robinson's WW1 & WW2 books, I'm currently re-reading 'A Good Clean Fight'. You can probably tell by my online name below that I'm a bit of a fan of his. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-wink.gif
