Go to

C:\Program Files\Ubi Soft\IL-2 Sturmovik Forgotten Battles\PaintSchemes\Skins

or wherever your IL2 FB is installed. In the Skins folder, search for the P38 variant the skin is for, and pop it in there. I guess you could put it in either folder, but for historical accuracy just put it in the intended variant's folder.

I prefer to unzip the contents to my desktop incase the artist used a folder. Then simply put them in manually. Should go like this: Cdrive, program files,ubisoft,IL-2ForgottenBattles,paintshcemes,skins. In the skins folder find the plane you want and place the skin in its folder. You can also copy and paste because the same skin may work for different varients of the particular plane you have a skin for.
Hope I helped http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

No problem m8. Unzip the image file to a temperary folder. (I actually put all mine in a series of permantent folders on another drive.) Go to your IL2, IL2:FB, or IL2:FB Ace folder, open PaintSchemes, then Skins and then the correct plane that the skin is made for. Some skins are universal, and will work for every plane in the series, ie. all P-47s, or all Bf-109s. Too use it for each version, copy it into each folder for the different versions. When you fly, merely choose which one you want. Good luck, and

Good hunting,
