Anyone have a good keymapping for the P-38? Espcially for the engine controls

Shift+R - select right engine
Shift+L - select left engine
Shift+A - select all engines
F - Feather prop

All seems to work fine for me.

That sounds good but I just could not get the speed up while dogfighting in the hyperlobby. The settings were for complex engine management.

Start right engine, then start the left engine. Maintain throttle power of about 10% or so when starting. Once started, select all engines. Throttle up and works as normal. Speed will go up quickly. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

Yep, the 38 goes like a rocket in a straight line. Be sure both engines are on, obviously. Once you start getting up to speed you should open the radiators and reduce prop pitch to keep the heat managable. Personally I have engine selectors as Insert (left), Home (all), and Pg Up (right). Feather is Shift+F. Remember, only feather when in emergencies! The only reason to is when an engine is knocked out or on fire, or when you really need to conserve gas (making runs back to base after a very long sortieon fumes, with low danger of attack, for instance). Always cut power to 0 before feathering, and then turn off the engine once feathered.
