It has no tail wheel, yet the game acknowledges tailwheel lock for it. Is this a small bug?

A better question is. . .why are you trying to lock it ;-)

Yes, I stumbled on this by accident because I'm so used to playing the game with tail draggers, that I did so out of habbit. Just wanted to know if it's a bug or maybe the front wheel locks or whatever! I dunnow! That's why I asked.

Do other nose gear aircraft do this as well?

The P-38 might be the special case for the in games modelling, since it has such a nose high attitude when all 3 wheels are on the ground. They may have just placed the tailwheel at the front of the plane and lowered it so the plane would have the proper attitude.

Bump! Anyone have an answer for this one? Again, I feel more than a little silly bringing up such a small point.

All planes have this switch... try to lock a P.11c's skid for example http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

DOn't worry, this has been fixed in the patch. Beside that, the mirror has been fixed as well and the P-38 finally got fire extinguishers for both engines. So we are finally able to get rid of engine fires.
I weird "bug" i noticed is, that when your engines are on fire, the AI stops shooting at you, atleast the flak and AAA. As soon as the fire goes out, they start to shoot again.

That is pretty alarming John_Banks.

The P-38 did not carry fire extinguishers.
And the P-38 currently has too much cannon ammo and is missing 1000 rounds of machine gun ammo.

P-38 Should carry 500 RPG 50cal and 120rounds for the 20mm. Currently has 150.

The fire extinguishers should absolutely not be there.

I'd also like to ask if anyone here is the person that's been providing Oleg with the data to make changes like posted above? If you are, please stop, you're feeding them terribly innacurate data. Please refer to the P-38 thread with 11 pages and garner your information there.

yeeesh..

I know that the ammo load of the P-38 seems to be off, but i didn't know that the P-38 never had any fire extinguishers. I just noticed that they are there nowhttp://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif. But what is odd too is, that when your engine is on fire, nothing happens. It keeps burning but never does it explode or effect the fuel tanks.

120 rounds for the 20mm? Everything I've got states it has a maximum of 150 rounds for the 20mm.
