View Full Version : I am Very Disappointed at these Juvenile Rants!

SeaFireLIV

After 1 day and as I predicted we have started to see some over the top childish rants. Oberst Wiley (to name one) is one big disappointment in this cos I assumed he was more mature than this and would have given AEP at least a week or so for a proper test.

Because of this dumb negativity I`ve decided to stay away until AEP is released. This way I won`t be effected by the poison some love spewing out.

Not that anyone cares, but bitter insults should not be aimed at anybody, least of all after ONE day of release! how the hell could anyone have truly tested any part of the sim, or even enjoyed it properly??

See you all at the UK release of AEP! Where I`ll test and get a better idea of this sim add-on. :( Without the insults... good or bad.

Exactly how many days must one sit on the tarmac watching the "engine inoperable"-text in the me163 to be allowed to comment on it?

Until the patch comes out?

"Exactly how many days must one sit on the tarmac watching the "engine inoperable"-text in the me163 to be allowed to comment on it?"

How many times do people need to bring it up - as if stating it over and over again means anything more than once.

Next time you error, let us know, we will spend all day telling you how much you error'd.

You treat Oleg as if he won't fix it - he has before, why would he not know.

As if this one aircraft impeded your entire AEP experience - this one?

Quit your foolish whining.

Nothing wrong with constructive observations of things that from past history YOU KNOW WILL BE FIXED like the Me163 thing, it's the juvenile ranting that SeaFire was complaining about, and he's right. There are plenty of opportunities to let the developers know where things have been broken, and Oleg's already stated the 163 thing has ALREADY been taken care of, as many have followed these procedures.

Boo hoo, we've all been really hard done by with this outstanding simulator line, and it's continued and not terribly economically rewarding support by the developers, haven't we.

*sigh*

Cheers, Spinner

After the patch comes out it is ok to comment on the bug?? :P

Seafire's got a point, this is a very negative forum but I think shutting up about bugs in the game are not taking us anywhere either. The problem lies in people making it personal instead of letting the facts do the arguing..

who is "we"?

>You treat Oleg as if he won't fix it - he has >before, why would he not know.

I didn't treat Oleg in any way.. read the text and try to understand. No mention of him not fixing it, just aa pointer that bugs SHOULD be reported

>As if this one aircraft impeded your entire >AEP experience - this one?

I dont have AEP yet, I can wait until it hits the stores here.

>Quit your foolish whining.

What is it you are doing?

If you check Oleg's Ready Room, you will see that Oleg is monitoring a thread and has already assured us that several known bugs (including the Me163 engine thing) will be fixed shortly in a free addon/patch. Meantime, there's lot's of other aircraft to try :)

Absolutely Tully, that's the 1 good thing about being European. By the time the game is released here, a patch will probably be available or at the very least very nearly completed.
Seafire I see your point, but it's best to just ignore childish ranting.

I am not European, but I would imagine there are LOTS of god things about being Eurpoean, not just one. Here's a few:

1) Stella Artois
2) Penelope Cruz (yum)
3) Stella Artois
4) Arsenal Football!!!
5) Better Wine
6) Old Heritage
7) Sweeden. There ain't NOTHING WRONG with Sweeden! Especially the Volvos, the fighter jets, the women, and ABBA!!!
8) Stella Artois
9) Funny looking shoes
10) Castles

There you have it...10 things to be proud of being European

btw...I am Canadian. LONG LIVE THE QUEEN, lest her incompatant son take over.

Stella Artois is indeed a great benefit of being European, along with Kronenburg 1664.

Mind you, I also think Sam Adams is a great beer, which you just can't get on this side of the pond :(

That was essemm's list I was quoting.

But I do like Swedes - especially mashed with Turnips!

Hi,

Stella is good?

That's a bit like saying that Budweiser is something to be proud of if you are American.

Anything beer that you have to chill so you cannot taste it anymore (apart from vodka) is for nob rotters, m8 ;-)

And Arsenal - I won't even comment on that!

Cheers,
Norris

The patch wil be out immediately after the european release, they already mae it.

But yes, Oleg has really screwed us again, tricking us into buying one more of his incredibly crap flight sims that took no work from him whatsoever...... NOT!

I agree with the sentiments of the original poster...

why should anyone have a point to whine anyway??!!! Just state your constructive critisisim and go on with your virtual life as a pilot. This is a thread for people that can act accordingly as an adult with respect and gratefullness to the creators. You know some people dont even have FB, namely mehttp://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_frown.gif So please quit nagging and ruining the future experience for us. :P

Nothing wrong with sweden http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Volvo's are well engineered cars, despite the skill of the drivers. The older boxy 80's model's will easily accept a 350 chev and have no problems handling the power !

As for the girls... anyone who has had a swedish girlfriend will know http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

shame we cant post pics :P

Eh, mates! What's the good word?
