If so, and your graphics card can tilt the video, I have a treat for you.

Open conf.ini and reverse the hieght/width settings. (You may have to change the value of the aspect settings. I can't recall if I did or not).

Then tilt your LCD so that it is longer than it is wide.

Tell your video card drivers to tilt the video.

Fire up TiR (if you have a tiltable LCD and no tir you are WIERD).

Now play FB.

Maybe will work with dual monitors stacked too. I didn't have time to test it all, but it does wonders for visibility in a turn-fight.

One day I'll grab a coupla cheap PCI video cards and see what else I can do with 3 renders. I have a feeling that, with carfull monitor selection, it would be possivle to get almost 270 degreee vis.

A bit expensive ( the cost of a couple of lcd moniters but add a track system and full real could be very emersive...... http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

i-glasses are extremely low resolution, have very narrow FOV, and cost twice as much as the coming HMDs.

Forget they exist. They suck.

Maybe the X-eyes from leadtech or X-viewer will be a decent HMD, but neither are availible for consumers so it doesn't matter.

For now, lets just stick to the topic at hand.

The multiple render code in FB appears to allow for some very interesting views, if you are willing to goof around with them.

Is there a way to increase the wide view or overall view even further than what it is in game now?
Thanks

Yes. You need multiple monitors to do so though.

I don't know if my monitor tilts, but when I watch Fox News, my whole TV leans to the right http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

When was the last time that "high res" was 800x600? 1990? That's seems like a preety poor resloution ot me.

Yes, but when I watch any other news station, my TV falls through the left side of my TV cabinet. Trust me, there is no such thing as news that is uninfluenced by opinion. Just some is more influenced than others. Oh, dang I just started a political flame war didnā't I? *Runs for cover*
