the Do335 and Ta152 came in service one year sooner then they did..this thoughts coming on my mind consistently whenever I read about these birds.Anyone daring to guess?
Both of them were using existing technology availabe in that time (in contrary to Me262, He162 and so on).

Altitude, speed, manoeuvre and.... CRASH!

More bombers would have been lost... P51 wouldnt have been so hyped.. but the overall result would have been the same

Germans never recovered from the defeat in operation Zitadele, things that happened later were not that important because they couldnt bring their numbers after 1943. If they applied Mansteins "scorched earth" with "backhend" strategy instead of head on colision with Rusians things would have different outcome for all of us, but Manstein was kicked from the server.

What if P-51's had been introduced a year earlier??!? This thought burns my loins almost daily.

I'm sure North American P-51's would have won the war earlier.

All this 'what if' talk is annoying. There no 'what if', only what happened. It's the same thing w/ all this Luft'46 crap. Alot more goes on in reality than in books or the history channel. People who think that they understand these events well enough to impose change by altering certain events here and there display only their ignorance. Ignorance of what the real world is like, ignorance of how things really happen.

There is no cause and effect in the present or future, only in the past.

Applying the same logics, you can argue they lost it in 1871.

`
, in a interview in 1991 ... ADOLF GALLAND stated that if his advice was what Hitler had followed about the 262 .......

, there could have been 800 262's operating by DECEMBER 1943

that would have kicked the daylight bombing in the a$$

I just found this nice photo of a fully restored Dornier Do335. Very menacing, just how I like 'em! This is the only Do335 existing today.
