One of our newest members "BSS_cdt_Goat" came up with an interesting mission file that aides in refining approach techniques for the carrier. Four of us tried it last night and it's really quite interesting.
Buildings are set on the runway to force a good line-up, Bon fires are placed to depict the arresting wires/landing area, and a bridge in installed at the landing area to keep you down on glidepath. Approach speeds used were 180-200 kph.
BSS_Absolute converted it to a Dogfight mission and added markers on the ground and water to depict proper position in the carrier landing pattern.

Take a look:

If anyone would like to try it, give us a nudge in the ribs.
