I haven't really looked but I'm sure if they are available, I would have seen one by now.

Windsocks are an integral part of an airfield and would go down a treat in The Pacific, as well as other airfields in Europe.

wouldnt we need winds, swells etc for a windsock to work?

heres a list of different types of wind. Xplane and fs2004 simulate alot of these well.

Wind is not very complex in the game, but try taxiing and taking off in snow or thunder.
