After climbing to an excess of 150,000' (With 100% fuel)...
I foung the top speed limited (in a dive) to
roughly 2000 kph.
The Me-163 locked up tight, and broke up
when it exceeded 2,000 kph.
This pegged my "Weird$hit O meter"

It seems we got a rather bizzare flight model here.
This thing makes the La-7 (and other Russian Uberplanes)
look normal.

I found that with a full fuel load it easily
will stand on it's tail and climb to 30,000m +
just by carefully keeping the thing vertical.

The Moon is within reach, seeing that I was
able to exceed 30,000m on my first flight.

Some guy joined the server and asked "Where are you?"
I replied, "on the Moon".

Da...

PS:After re-entry I have yet to land the 163.
Perhaps the heat shield ain't up to the job?

You could reach for the moon with unlimited fuel.

Every time you use unlimited fuel, Oleg strangles a kitten.

IL2 and FB AEP have realistical atmospheric conditions up to 10000m. Above that nothing changes anymore.

2000 kph... you sure? Curious, mine keep exploding when near sound speed... I have flown it at 1200 kph near ground, but have exploded at 1000kph under 20000m.

Do you have the track of your 2000kph perf? i would like to enjoy it...

Max. dive increases as you go higher because the air is thinner so the stress on the airframe is lower, so I think a 2000 kph would be possible up high. Looking at the 163 it looks real sturdy to me too.
