Well this sounds weird but I bought a 9800 pro a month or so agao, installed, applied luckyboy's tips and I thought well hey, this can't get any better can it?

boy was I wrong....

2 days agao I installed 4.9's, set screen resolution for all games and so (including windows) to 1152x *** and I put anti alaising on 6x( on performance settings) and I put temporal AA on to. Also I put Anisotropic filtering to 4x and WOW, what a sight....

I know I need 512Megs of ram more, which will come in somewhere in october or late september. but boy oh boy, am I ever glad I bought this card and I must say, the game looks even better now, BEAUTIFUL details, water still rocks,....

I'm without speech, I've never loved my P 38 like this ever before....

try it, it's AWSOMEEEEEEEEE

Same thing here. Got the 9800 Pro a couple of weeks ago and the mountain map is astonishing, and the water on the Pacific islands map (8a) blew me away. It was so enticing I landed and sat on the beach for an hour!
Cheers!

How are the distant target pixels? One reason when I upgrade video card I may have to stay medium res and no AA/AF. I hope not. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Who is the dude/dudette with the P~47 sig, P~47 flying over clouds like these...? Do we still think modern grafix cards can't handle large cumulus clouds? Just afraid BoB will ship with the established standard small size "flight sim" clouds.

I have a 9800pro too, ATI branded. Where can I find Luckyboy's tips? I mean, it's pretty damn good as it is, but if it can be made better.... http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Would you please post step by step instruction on how to do this? I have a 9800 Pro video card and would like to get the best results. I really have a hard time seeing aircraft and ground targets.

Thanks

you can find Luckboy's tips on Airwarfare.com
It's pretty good and check out COastie's for card settings.

Bump your refresh rate up as well.

Normally Spiny Norman was wont to be about
