I like it! But I would like to see it in a different color when on concrete runway and probably not so dense. I wasn't there of course in the 40's, but I would think it would be less on concrete and not brown when all the fields around are green with vegitation. Something to think about anyways. Not whinning in the least. Just an observation.

I agree with the different colors. Another time different colors makes sense is when it is raining.

Just as much dust is kicked up in a downpour as when it is dry. Changing the dust color to white or gray would simulate mist blown by the prop.

It kind of spoils the "suspension of disbelief" the way the dust appears in heavy rain.

Yep I was wondering about the rain effect so went and tried it. I agree with EBeaver on this too.

I would think that dust would be less during a downpour since it has all that water to stick to.

Just another case of dammed if you do, dammed if you dont. Dont get me wrong.. I too.. I mean anyone can find things in a sim that is not 100% correct in every situation.. Funny thing is... Oleg and the team realise this.. That being no mater what they add.. Someone aint going to like it and find something wrong with it! Thank god they are willing to put up with all the special case complants.. In that they know that OVERALL it is a good thing.. Otherwise we wouldnt have any dust to complain about!! I think we all need to step back once in awhile and look for the silver linning.. I find myself falling into this trap somtimes... But not as much as I use to.

Dust. Wait till the Med Sim.

Funny, for me the dust *does* freeze framerates but (for me) the new smoke pillars don't. Very different grafix used I guess.

Another thing since Patch:: Sometimes I get the frame freezing muzzle flash in Me262 and sometimes nothing but smooth cannon tracers. Funny how that works. Funny I am ~not~ whining about it. /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif
