Hey all, in my last computer, a piece of plastic broke off of the D drive (Inside it) while the IL-2 FB disk 2 was in there, and scratched it up pretty badly.

Now, I heard of a source, that there is a way to get the disk replaced by ubi for a small fee. is this true? and if it is, how do I go about doing that?

You mean FB gold right?

Whats the diff gonna be between Gold and Ordinary? will it have all the patches and AEP installed or something?

My FB Disc 2 is getting scratched too. I
preordered AEP before the Gold edition was
announced. I don't want to mess around trying
to change a preorder when all I will ultimately
need is a new disc 2.

It is AEP, with the original FB supplied. And all of the patches of course.

I have a teenage son who also uses this Pc - is that enough said? My #2 disk has taken a bit of a beating & it would be great to get a replacement ...unless it it becomes unnecessary with the Aces add-on disk....uh....I guess my question is : does it???

Exactly! Ubi can shove it. We're not software pirates, just people with common sense.

no cd patch is a good idea tbh, ive seen in several places shattered il2fb cds
fact is a 52x drive does mind bending rpm, i think 10,000rpm+ or sumin
also make a racket,
some publishers will exept damaged discs and give u new ones. used tobe 11quid for most i belive

I don't believe in No-CD hacks. anyway. I can't even install FB now, it just won't read it properly.

I'll Just Wait for FB GOLD I spose. DAng Nammit.

Hi all

you do not have to lookming for no cd hacking soft, solution is very simply
to make an image of CD on your HDD and then you can use a Deamon soft to make a virtual CD
that's all what you need to do

and your cd's are safe on shelfhttp://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
