In another thread we have some more of Leadspitter's usual bileful negative ranting (See below). always crapping on the maddox sims, he now seems to be carrying his BS over into this forum. But happily he PROMISED that he wouldn't come back to this forum ever! Great! - If it wasn't for the fact that he posts again on p. 2 of his BS thread...

I just hope he'll stay away with his eternal whining, it is getting very sad to look at.

BTW, as most nitwits would be able to understand, Pacific fighters will be stand-alone because the FM is completely incompatible with the Il-2-series.

What does Leadspitter want? (Wait, I'm not asking him, I don't want him in here). So, what do the backwards-compatibility-whiners want?

BoB compatible with FB compatible with Il-2?

CFS3 compatible with CFS2 compatible with CFS1 compatible with Chuck Yeager's Flight combat???

If we want ADVANCES in air combat sims then we can't have backwards compatibility!

Here's the usual negative cr*p I'm referring to:

(Thanks God he won't buy Pacific fighters and pollute the forums with such nonsense)

"Its definatly going to be a stand alone game and nothing we can do about it.

8-10 flyable aircraft a couple versions of each and 16 different maps.

what a shame and im not going to buy it becuase of it being a stand alone title thats not compatible with il2fb.

What a poor choice by luthier to make it a stand alone game. Split the communty two and not many planes = very boring very quickly.

Oh well take care all last post from me here btw im making a couple skins for the game too.

S` leadspitter out hope you enjoy them and take care."

Kozhedub: In combat potential, the Yak-3, La-7 and La-9 fighters were indisputably superior to the Bf-109s and Fw-190s. But, as they say, no matter how good the violin may be, much depends on the violinist. I always felt respect for an enemy pilot whose plane I failed to down.

From what I understand everything till BoB will be close to FB. Once BoB comes out everything after that (Med..?) will be on the new engine...which works for me.

Yeah, I'm with BearCat. When there's a major move, let there be a major move. Until then, keep things working together.

Edit: Oh gosh, I hate when people write posts saying nothing. Sorry. I blame it on being tired. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Cheers,
Fred

Very odd.

The only thing I can say at this point that the two products will be fully compatible and there's no technical limitations in the engine that would prevent a Bf-109 from flying over Iwo Jima or an Aichi Val over Leningrad.

Gotta hate them nitwits, eh?
