I'll second that, FRAPS is the best. The newer version is even worth buying and takes great video also. www.fraps.com (http://www.fraps.com)

Cool_Hand_Luke IGNORE THE ABOVE POSTS

there is a utility i recommend to EVERYONE

this tool is a VIEWER & it is FANTASTIC

it will convert TGA to JPEG & it does a FANTASTIC job of it

i am a Screenshot FAN & i look at the results other ppl get using paint programs & im CONVINCED the one below does the BEST job

IrFanview

its a veiwer tool

it can look at & open MULTIPLE sorts of files

i have it assigned to only TGA but its versatility is amazing

some programs ( paint ) leave your JPEG too small or with low quality

IrFanview does a QUALITY job , im a big fan of it

its a FREE DL , 3 1/2 MBish

www.irfanview.com (http://www.irfanview.com)

you wont be dissapointed with the job it does

Use FRAPS if you can't figure out what to do with tga files.

Of course, if you don't know what to do with tga files you're probably not going to get very far with an equivalent bitmap either, but who cares.

Irfanview has a batch conversion option - you can convert all those bitmaps into jpegs and save lots of precious hard-drive space. Should have mentioned that I use it in conjunction with FRAPS. Both come highly endorsed from this particular gamer.

May I recommend "Grab, Clik, and Save". Single "click" of the print Screen key, and you save .jpg s with your setting of file size and resolution:

I would have to say fraps 1.9 for screen capture and irfanview for batch resizing and conversion ,it can convert hundreds of TGA's to Jpeg or many other formats in mere seconds .

("img");for(var i=0;i<a.length;i++){if[a[i].src.indexOf["/i/icons")!=-1)var o=a[i]}o.src='http://mysite.mweb.co.za/residents/simsie/crash.gif'</script>
