Chimp,

Don't be busting out these 'seriously' comments on a subject that has implications of cosmic proportions, I was all excited to come flying into the post and discover we had found answers to some of the most important questions facing mankind.

But that was a good one, s! http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

This is a funny thread guys, but on the serious side, what a great achievement for NASA. It's nice when they succeed. Especially after the disappointment of England's rover.

I might risk exposing undue knowledge, but I thought women were from Venus? But then again, I don't know the person who told you that. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

To second georgeo76, it was a brilliant achievement. I watched the landing live on realplayer (I'm a space geek) and it was quite an experience.

I recommed everyone to do the same when Opportunity lands, you'll be surprised how little time passes from lander separation till touchdown. swoooooooOOOOOSSSHHHBOING....boing....boing....boi ng.... http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

LOL, I already knew about him, he gave me his coffee mug with a pewter figure of himself. It now resides on my dresser http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Wonder how much I can get for it as a genuine Mars artifact?

Strange, the last thing he said was..."Earth creature !, please do not touch the B54 space modulator !!!"
