Wasn't there supposed to be changing weather in AEP? I read about it in a game magazine but I haven't noticed any weather changing.

And if there is changing weather, can I use it in FMB?

i am sure you can set it so there is rain and wind, I often played one on ubicom that had cloud cross winds and thunder and lightning, you can change the times of day too for so you get mist in the valleys in the mornings.

yes you can there are programs too see

There will be wind, or at least simulated wind don't know if it will be a real global environmental thing making your plane and AI planes crab flight path or just a hack to make Player carrier takeoffs work....no matter its the combat environment that matters.

New, Bigger, and MORE clouds have been announced. We assume static clouds, fixed on the map as in FB, but New, Bigger and MORE clouds is most needed if they move or not.

About the issue of clouds reflecting off the new and improved water, I dunno. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/icon_twisted.gif

Yes tony - BUT - it's not real weather http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_frown.gif
Not meaning I want to get struck by lightning or get wet behind my computer but meaning its a constant force from one direction only http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_frown.gif

And NO thermals, NO microbursts, NO local weather - now those would be nice...

It's nothing like the real thing...
And it does not change either in one mission...

there is no dynamic weather in Il2/FB/AEP
if it rains it rains if its hazy its hazy simple as that
there are however weather types wich you can set when building missions
they are:

Clear
good
Hazy
poor
rain/snow and thunderstorm if i remember correctly

the host can set the time of day (TOD) ingame but cannot change the weather
and yes when waether type is set to good and you change time on a map there can be fog when its early morning http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
