View Full Version : AEP - Where is the Western Front?

I installed the AEP and spent a few days flying around and having fun in single misions in the new planes -- and fun it was too! However, last evening I decided to check out the new Wester Front campaigns promised on the AEP box -- and voila, I don't see them. Only the original campaigns (plus those I added myself) are there. I see no American Campaign, and nothing suggesting a Western Front theatre for the Luftwaffe. So what gives? Is there or is there not a Normandy and Arddense campaign? If yes, how do you access them? As usual, the documentation from Ubi is appaling and give no clue as how to find them. On the other hand, maby I did something wrong. Please help.

There is a western front campaign promised on the AEP box? Um, where? Can you post what it says, please? I think you may have misunderstood.

There are Normandy and Ardennes maps which are great fun, but no American campaign in AEP

My AEP box mentions no Western Front campaigns...

For that you need BoE (Battles over Europe) or DCG ( http:///www.lowengrin.com ) or a user made campaign - www.netwings.com (http://www.netwings.com)

The thing is though that if you do go and get either you may post later that the manuals are a bit disappointing. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Haven't you heard.....

All's quiet on the Western front.

I'm looking at my ACE box and all it mentions are the two new maps.

24 beers in a case.
24 hours in a day.
Coincidence...I think not !!!

It's written on the cover of my AEP box! It says "I promise to make a western front campaign and all the planes you could ever wish for (including the difficult ones that'd take years to make), much luv Oleg".
The fact it's written in crayon and is in my own handwriting is purely coincidental. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/35.gif http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/351.gif

you can only find those maps in the single missions. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-wink.gif
