When i use the hat switches to look around (in snap view or pan mode) everytime the switch returns to its central (neutral) position, my view pans downward as if I pressed the look down button. At some point, the look up button stop working and all I can do is look further down http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_mad.gif, left or right. As a result, I cant use the switch to look around and this is really annoying.
Anyone else got this problem?
By the way I have a CH fighterstick

Don't have that problem, but one thing you might try is to reset your controls in game back to default, then rebind anything you have customized.

It sounds like look down has been bound to your nap forward view and the two are working together at the same time....might be wrong but I'd try to reset to default first and evaluate from there.

sounds like you toggled from 'snap' view to 'pan' view, press F9(by default) to fix it

Try checking your stick's inputs by going to Control Panel, selecting Game Controllers, then highlighting your fighterstick, and clicking on Properties.

Check to see if your POV hat swich works there. This will determine if the problem is in the stick hardware, or the game's software. CH Products has a good rep for product support, so if it is the stick, give them a call. If it's the game, try resetting to default and then reset your preferences.

If that doesn't work, a reinstall of the game might be called for.

cheers

Tried that and it works as it should there. I also have Flanker and there is no problem with it when looking around. So I guess its the game.
I was hoping that this is a well known problem and that there would be a simple fix http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif
Oh well, I'll try reassigning the buttons and see if it solves the problem

This may or may not be related, but on my CH Combatstick, I now have a couple of buttons that are worn to the point they only work when moving the joystick in a certain direction (left actually). Possibly you are experiencing something similar? To test hold the joystick in all four 'cardinal' directions while trying to push the button in question (or others). I'm reasonably sure on mine at least this is just from wear, as no amount of calibrating or wire wiggling has any effect.

I did, this happens in both Pan mode and Snap view mode.
