View Full Version : HELP...my girlfriend is attracted to bf109 pilots

MB_Avro

Please help me....

She often watches me fly online and for some reason finds those who fly the bf109 somewhat 'sexy'.My mount is the Hurricane but she considers this to be an 'under-performers' plane.I have explained at length the historical significance of the Hurricane and its stability as a gun platform.

I have also in some depth outlined the inherent flaws of negative 'g' on the fuel flow but being a woman she has ignored all my advice and gazed in awe at the performance of bf109 pilots.

Has anyone else become a 'Hurricane widow'?

I look to the community for help.

Thanks in advance.

Maybe it's time to try the 109.
Keep your girlfriend and get a better plane, pretty good deal don't you think?

And give up his Hurri http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/heart.gif.......NEVER. Just change to a Hurri MK.II,IIb,IIC, and BLOW THOSE 109s OUT OF THE SKY. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/784.gif

I enjoy flying my Hurri alot and would never change to a 109, even if it meant losing my wife. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/crazy.gif....but thats just me. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/35.gif

Hunh! ... My ex wife thinks level bomber pilots are sexy.

Unfortunately I thought I found something else that was sexier than her ... and now I'm a single guy shooting 109s out of the air, while I wait for my flyable Level Bomber. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_razz.gif

Well, this is something new and different.

We're all adults here, or want to be, so let's cut to the chase: The Bf 109 is more, well, shapely than the stubby little Hurricane.

I suggest that you fly Mustangs.

Can I just inject a few facts into this conversation. In 1940 it was a well known fact amongst RAF pilots that ALL Bf109 pilots were practicing homosexuals. They were treated accordingly. The results speak for themselves.

Kozhedub: In combat potential, the Yak-3, La-7 and La-9 fighters were indisputably superior to the Bf-109s and Fw-190s. But, as they say, no matter how good the violin may be, much depends on the violinist. I always felt respect for an enemy pilot whose plane I failed to down.

Can I thank all of you for your helpful replies?

I went with my girlfriend to a 'relationship therapist' earlier today. He showed her performance graphs regarding the bf109G2 as a form of therapy and offered her a 'patch' of some sort.
He also had an album illustrating inflight characteristics of all variants of the bf109 and pictures of FB bf109 pilots in their so-called virtual cockpits.
She went to her room when I got home with this album and locked the door. She has been gone for at least an hour.
Do any women lock themselves away with an album of on-line Hurricane pilots? If not....why??

Would it help if I were to explain to her the ground-loop afflictions of a bf109 due to it's narrow undercarriage track versus the stability of the Hurricane's wide track? Or is this a concept alien to the female mind? Should I confine her education to the technecalities of reverse parking and the preparation of a good steak?

I try my best to be reasonable.

Hey, I'd have a pilot license by now if SIM wasn't such a cheaper alternative! She can't argue with that!

Not only that, instead of being at the pub or buying ammo at Walmart for the range, I'm spending time at home, a shout away.

Would love to invite her to my first solo flight in a Cessna, if I could afford even that.

Actually, this thread is begging for a lock down! I can feel it!

Far out man http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif but can't you stress the importance of the mirror - I mean women like mirrors don't they? Tell her she can use your mirror anytime - you know sit on your lab & stuff & maybe the two of you will get together again... Mine likes the P39 - says she thinks it's pretty & aw.

"So when Diogenes perceived that he was greatly excited and quite keyed up in mind with expectancy, he toyed with him and pulled him about in the hope that somehow he might be moved from his pride and thirst for glory and be able to sober up a little. For he noticed that at one time he was delighted, and at another grieved at the same thing, and that his soul was as unsettled as the weather at the solstices when both rain and sunshine come from the very same source."

Why Woman http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/heart.gif BF109 Drivers.

Instinctively Woman realise that BF109 Pilots are capable of consistantly supplying Fluid to their Donk while executing upside-down maneauvers.

Girls also enjoy the fact that 109 Drivers automatically regulate there pitch or intensity thus ensuring their Donk does not come to any harm.
The 109 Driver also has an Automatic 2 stage Blower which ensures the Donk runs optimal, and does not get Blown too early or late due to pilot error.

Also the 109 Jock retains Energy far better than the Hurricane pilot this is also attractive to Woman who want their man to retain Altitude longer.

There are many more reasons why Woman prefer BF109 Drivers but I hope I have outlined enough to prompt you to Join us.

My wife and her friends thinks Im cute in my 109 when flying and shouting warnings to buddies .And she also likes that I go for dewinging my enemies so the can bail and survive. She hides her face in her hands when I crash.
My 8 year old son loves when daddy's flying bcause dad always forgets the swearing rule and have to pay fines.
My son also loves when I have to bail, since he knows that the ground crew will be very, very angry at me, wasting expensive planes.
when I ask what the ground crew will say to me, he answers .."U clumsy klot" and laughs his head off...
--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Note:
I normally dont allow my son watching, exept for chosen parts or some tracks once in a while...(to young yet....he will have time and opportunity later on anyway).

Dunno - maybe it's me.

But are we putting the cart before the horse here?

Assuming that 'My mount is the Hurricane but she considers this to be an 'under-performers' plane.' is indeed correct then to my mind it's the pilot at fault!

Birds like uniforms and everyone knows that the Germans had the best looking uniforms during WW2. So, maybe it's that uniform and/or camp leather jackets that does it!

Pfwaa.....109.s.....Hurri's ?

Strap on a Spitfire if you want some female attention......When i am flying my wife just goes crazy with lust and adoration!!
She can't help herself!!
'Chocks away' she screams as she rips off her clothes revealing '40.s underware, complete with seamed stockings.
Then she jitter-bugs round the room singing 'We'll Meet Again'at the top of her voice in a Vera Lynn stylee......Outstanding.....!!!!!
What more could a part-time armchair fighter pilot wish for........Bliss

Well its obvious to everyone of you that you guys are compensating for something. Flying the biggest planes with the biggest guns, must feel..under-prepared?

Your problem is that you explain at length. You need to show her the length.

Thank you all for your advice which has been exceedingly helpful.

After many days of pondering I decided with some reluctance to try my hand as a bf109 pilot and regain her heart.

Horror of horrors....the result was catastrophic!!

With shame I post the link.
