View Full Version : Advice on CH Fighterstick sensitivity settings

I was on the War Clouds server last night getting my proverbial whopped by 109s and 190s while I was in a Spit IXe. I couldn't help wondering if my joystick settings were at least part of it (the other part being my poor flying http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/35.gif ).

I have a CH Fighterstick USB and although I've started tweeking my sensitivities, I would like to see what other people are using for their joystick sensitivities (pitch/roll) via the in game "Input" section. Would anyone care to post their settings or point me to a post/web site that gives them? (Yes, I've already tried a search through all of Ubi's forums for this but to no avail except one person who claims to have set his all to 100%).

Many, many thanks in advance,

Alexi

P.S., Wouldn't it be great if someone with more time than me was to trawl and solicit for joystick settings and compile them on a web site. All different joystick brands and people's recommendations. If enough entries were there, a consensus or pattern could be identified that might lead to a particular joysticks 'optimal' settings. Just a thought http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/93.gif

Not just different brands. I normally fly aircraft slow in the roll response, but if I were to fly the Fw190's or the MiG3's more often I'd slow my initial roll response down significantly.

I use the 100 100 ... 100 settings in the game, but I use the controlmanager software to reduce the gain by two steps for the elevator, ailereon and rudder controls.

While I have a Combatstick, I also set my at 100s across the board (advice from someone who also uses a Combatstick) and then tweak sensitivities, deadzones and curves in the CH Control Manager... works well for me...
