hmm, not sure whether I was using mouse or the hatswitch at this point, the view is a bit strange, you can get in cockpit view when loading the track, pressing F1 and then pressing esc and turning off manual view. But its not showing much. On the kick a$$ track its even a bit funny http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif But best enjoyment comes from external view. the server was without externals btw, this was recorded from an onlinerecording. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/blink.gif

anyways, watch for your own enjoyment, just some funny action, two tracks there:

I had some tracks that I recorded back when my skills were all shiny and polished. Sadly, they no longer work after new patches have come out. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-mad.gif

I sure wish I had a .ntrk of the time I flew in IOW or VEF or some online war and took out 5 or 6 bombers in one sortie with a Kanonenboot 109, plus one pesky fighter that got in my way, and also lived to tell about it.

That, I think has been the highlight of my online competitive flying with this sim.

Just last night, I got a P38, a P47 (which absorbed 3 or 4 30mm hits http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif) and a P-40 online...ran out of Mk108 ammo and tried to rtb, but got bounced and had to crashland. I survived, though, so I guess that track won't embarass me either.

Now that sounds familiar. I may have one or two laying about like this myself. Too often I'll put together a decent sortie only to get jumped while trying to land by the guy I just shot in an attempt to wreak some revenge. He'll take off and push it to the firewall to try to catch me on approach...at home. (I don't "killthendisengagetolandimmediately" ).

That's always a problem in DF servers where you're fighting near an enemy base, or the bases are too close together. Your victims respawn and end up killing you while you're clearing the skies of the original guys in the fight.

It's still a death, since you gotta know when to cut your losses and break off, but I mentally discount those a little, since I know I already spanked the guy and he really shouldn't even be there.

Getting him a second time is even sweeter, though. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

If I could, I'd post one of Mine. Slaughtered 5 B-17s(IL-2 Counted 6) but I had 4+ probables. Engine was pushed to its Absolute Limit, and Died just as I was landed. Crash landed just before hitting some houses after over shooting the runway. Besides that(The aircraft can be repaired), I was probably Double Ace in a Day, let alone ace in a day. Note that this was in a Custom Mission, and the B-17s were in Tight, there were 24 of them, I was in a FW-190A-9 with Mk103s.

Best "fight track"? hmmm,

http://www.dreyermachine.com/il2/ntrk/dreyer_spitfire_9_victory.ntrk

Kill 9 enemy aircraft online in a sortie, guess that's my best FIGHT track. Far from my own favorite track though. I don't like "fighting", it's dangerous and stupid.
