it was nice to come back from a 6 week holiday and find a fresh new patch http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
this is the first time FB with 1.22 and this strange stuff started to happen after about 30 minutes.
will try again now and hope it was just a once off.

GTA - Vice City had a similar problem when FX series cards came out. Rockstar Games released a patch that fixed the problem. However, the patch has been out now for some time and if this was a video chipset issue we'd have everyone screaming about this... so, have you noticed any other video problems on your machine? Tried reloading the latest drivers off the web? Reloaded DirectX? How about if you run some other video intensive application for half an hour, any problems then? If yes, then check the fan on the card, and see how that heatsink feels.

Go into your conf.ini, in the [game] section, and change "DropAcid=1" to "DropAcid=0". You'll have a much easier time of it.

Hi! If this happened after you've been playing for few hours then it must be due to overheating. Have you overklocked your GPU?

Stop trying the hyper-warp defense against La-7 tie-fighters!

Take your "Wings ripping off" like a man.
