Here are some descriptions for tonight's coops... mostly just revised old ones, but one new one:

Parts of the semi-dynamic campaign missions:

August 1, 1944:

8xP-38L, 4xP-51D-20, 4xSpitfire LF Mk Vb, 4xBf-109G-14, 4xBf-109G-6 Late, 4xMe-110

USAAF strike out at a german armored column, while Bf-109 race to intercept and P-51 + Spitfire escort.

August 2, 1944(blue win):

8xP-38L, 8xP-51B-5NA, 4xSpitfire Mk Vb (CW), 4xBf-109G-14, 4xMe-110G-2 Late, 4xFw-190A-8, 4xJu-87D-5

USAAF make a second attempt to take out the armored column that they failed to take out on August 1. LW perform their own strike on a vehicle column behind enemy lines.

Theres five more to tie in with the above two semi-dynamic missions, but I'll let those slip for now. They're all pretty much similar with the exception of objectives, planes and weather.

New one:

Working Together:

8xP-38J, 4xSpitfire Mk Vb, 4xYak-9, 8xIL-2 Type 3, 8xMe-110G-2, 4xBf-109G-6, 4xFw-190A-5

A joint operation by VVS and USAAF shuttle planes, with VVS striking out at a LW airfield and USAAF to escort IL-2s. LW Me-110s intercept while 109s and 190s scramble to meet the bombers.

No guarentees that I'll be there (though I probably will), I'm still dozy from surgery yesterday. Be there tonight at 9:30 EST!

Kozhedub: In combat potential, the Yak-3, La-7 and La-9 fighters were indisputably superior to the Bf-109s and Fw-190s. But, as they say, no matter how good the violin may be, much depends on the violinist. I always felt respect for an enemy pilot whose plane I failed to down.

There is usually a Team Speak (http://www.teamspeak.org/) server for VFC*Host. So any one interested in voice comms should go ahead and d/l the client.

<BLOCKQUOTE class="ip-ubbcode-quote"><font size="-1">quote:</font><HR> will it be up tonight? <HR></BLOCKQUOTE>

yea, it will be listed as a public server

Server Name:"VFC*Host"
PW: circus (case sensitive)

There will be two channels: Axis and Allies, but usually everyone stays in the same channel to chat. We haven't had any problems w/ rude behavior or language and I don't expect to.
