I would say that you would be making a good choice. A lot of simmers use them and swear by them. I have heard or read very few negative comments about them.

I'm getting mine on Friday, hopefully.

Only bad thing I've heard it is that the spring might be a bit tight!

By the way, I own a Sidewinder FFB 2 aswell. Damn thing is still good as new, even after three years. Bill obviously had nothing to do with its design http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_razz.gif

Hi, I've been pondering about a joystick-related problem myself lately, and thought I might as well post it in here instead of creating a new topic for this.

I've recently ordered several stuff from an online shop, including a Thrustmaster Top Gun Fox 2 Pro. All of the items arrived by now, besides the stick, which apparently still hasn't been delivered at the store after several delays.

What I wanted to know is if it's worth waiting for this stick. I've been to town recently and I found some Saitek sticks (ST90's and ST100's or ST50's) which were priced only about 10 euro's more then the Thrustmaster stick I ordered online.

What certainly caught my attention is that the Saitek sticks I saw looked like plastic toys rather then a good, solid stick. Ofcourse I didn't open any of the packages and I certainly didn't test them out in a flightsim yet, but this was just the impression I got.

Should I cancel my order at the webshop and buy one of those Saiteks, or wait for my Thrustmaster stick?
