Well the lovely Russian Ilya V 4-engined bomber just got finished up for FS-WWI! http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif A lot of work went into it and it turned out very nice indeed. The model doesnt touch IL-2: FB quality, but not bad for a 5+ year old game.

Be prepared...

Wow. The Ilya Muromets. Gorgeous indeed. **** planes all the way http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

I remember playing Fighter Squadron (FS:SDOE) when it 1st came out. It passed by almost unnoticed with most people absorved by EAW, but this game was a true gem. It was years ahead of EAW in many areas (probably everything except the raw ammount of AI planes flying around), and a lot closer to IL2 that anything else. IL2 actually reminded me of SDOE when it first came out.

Now that's a really crappy plane, and I love crappy planes. I really want a Great War air-sim of FB quality!

And thanks for the compliments guys! The original Ilya V done for FS-WWI was by Wakeup Tailgunner (A once SDOE member) and myself. I've been revamping this old bird due to some newly found info and I got another SDOE member Wat32 do skin her in 1024x1024. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

LOL no worries!

You just managed to waist a captured air craft and send this german running to saftey. I got away, your ground crew might of captured me, if you hadn't made me run faster to the border http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

Hey if we have so many fantasy '46 planes why not go the other way? I don't really see the early russian heavies as having a place in FB, but if Oleg would make a WWI sim...
